I have bites but I cannot see anything, could it be bed bugs?

Look for small dark or rust-coloured spots on the sheet or bed frame, and for tiny transparent skins the insect sheds as it grows. Where did the bed bugs come from in the first place?
Bed bugs do not usually come from dust or a neighbouring flat directly. They travel in luggage after a trip, in clothing, or in second-hand furniture and mattresses. In shared buildings they can also move through wall and floor gaps between units. General cleaning does not stop them returning unless their hiding places are treated.
Do I need to leave the whole house before bug spraying?
That depends on the scope of the work and the nature of the materials used, and it is one of the things agreed with you when you call before the appointment is set. Usually it is enough to clear the treated rooms and wait a set time before going back in; we will explain exactly what is needed so you can prepare well.

After the work is done, what should I check for?
In the following days watch whether the bites have stopped and whether the dark spots on the sheet are gone. Finding a very small number of dead insects at first is normal. If you notice signs continuing after the agreed period, let us know and we will agree on what is needed.
