What does sticker and adhesive removal cover?
Contractors put protective stickers on glass during construction to shield it from paint and plaster. When the work ends, the sticker film peels off but the adhesive layer stays stuck to the surface. In the summer heat of this layer hardens over time and becomes harder to remove, and greasy patches or hazy marks can appear on the glass alongside it.
We start by hearing what you notice on the glass and where it is in your home or building, then we remove the adhesive and any remaining stickers from windows, mirrors, glass doors and facades. Call or message us on WhatsApp, tell us your district and roughly how many panes or facades are involved, and we agree a time with you.
These are the surfaces and parts the work goes through, depending on what you notice, how many panes there are and the condition of the adhesive.
- Room windows
We remove protective stickers and adhesive residue from single and double-glazed panes, because the sticky layer attracts dust and clouds the view from both sides.
- Large glass facades
Large facades usually carry wider adhesive films, and each section is treated according to its size and how firmly the film has bonded to the glass.
- Glass doors
Tempered glass doors and aluminium-framed glass often carry stickers on both frame and glass surface, and we remove them all without marking the frame.
- Mirrors and interior glass
Mirrors in bathrooms and bedrooms are stickered during construction, and removing the adhesive needs care because the mirror backing is sensitive to scratching.
- Balustrade and shower glass
Balustrade and shower enclosure glass is usually tempered and clear, so adhesive residue shows up sharply on it and we give these surfaces focused attention.
- Yellowed residue and haze
Adhesive that has sat on glass through the heat can turn yellow or hazy and will not come off with a normal wipe, so it is treated differently from a fresh sticker.

Questions about Sticker & adhesive removal
How do I know the adhesive on my glass will not come off with a normal wipe?
If you wipe the glass with a damp cloth and a sticky layer, a yellow patch or a haze refuses to go, the adhesive has hardened and needs different treatment. This happens often with stickers that sat on glass through the summer, where the heat accelerates bonding between the adhesive and the glass surface.
Can a mirror or tempered glass get scratched when the adhesive is removed?
Scratching usually happens when metal tools or random pressure are applied to the surface. Mirrors are more sensitive because the silver backing is damaged if a scratch reaches it, so the approach to a mirror differs from tempered glass, and we treat each surface according to what it is.
My glass was fitted months ago and the stickers have been on since then, is removal still possible?
Yes, but old adhesive needs different treatment from a fresh sticker. The longer the layer sits on glass in sun and heat, the more firmly it bonds to the surface. When you call, tell us roughly how long the stickers have been there so we can prepare the right approach.
What affects the cost of sticker and adhesive removal?
The cost depends on the total glass area and number of panes, the type of glass whether ordinary, tempered, mirror or facade, the condition of the adhesive in terms of age and hardness, and how easy it is to reach high windows. All these details are discussed when you call or message.
What should I check myself after the adhesive removal is done?
Check each pane in natural or direct light, and look for sticky patches, yellow spots or faint haze. Pay attention to corners and frame edges because adhesive collects there. If you notice anything that has not been dealt with, tell us before we leave so we can go over it.
