What does ozone sanitizing cover?
Ozone is a gas that spreads through the air of a room and reaches the pores in walls, fabrics, wood and inside air-conditioning vents, which is what sets it apart from surface-only sanitizing. Lingering smells left by light fire damage, smoke, long-term damp, a pet, or a space that has been closed for a long time are all situations where ozone reaches in ways that a spray applied to surfaces alone cannot.
Tell us about the space, what you notice in it and which district you are in, and we will agree a time that suits you. Leave the rest to us and come back to air that feels lighter and cleaner.
These are the elements the work goes through in a session, depending on the type of space and what you notice in it, whether a smell or contamination.
- Room air
Ozone spreads through the full volume of air and treats what floats in it, because the air itself carries the smell and invisible contaminants.
- Fabrics and upholstery
Sofas, curtains and carpets absorb smells and hold them inside the fabric fibres; ozone penetrates them rather than sitting on their surface.
- Porous walls
Painted and plaster walls absorb smoke and damp over time; ozone reaches that inner layer that a wipe cannot get to.
- AC and ventilation vents
AC vents distribute the room air and carry with it smells and the fine dust that clings inside; ozone follows the same air path.
- Hard surfaces
Tables, floors and cabinets also benefit from ozone circulating in the enclosed space, as the gas reaches them just as it reaches everything around them.
- Tight enclosed spaces
Built-in wardrobes, closed kitchens and rooms that are rarely opened accumulate smells; ozone enters them naturally because it is a gas, not a liquid.

Describe the space and what you notice
Tell us the type and approximate size of the space, the nature of the smell or its cause if you know it, and which district you are in.
- 3
We agree a time and you prepare
We settle on a time that suits you, and you prepare by clearing the space of people and pets and keeping it as closed as possible for the duration of the session.
- 4
We work and you check afterwards
We run the ozone unit in the closed space for the time required by its size, then the place is ventilated before you return; check that the smell has gone and the air feels fresher.

Questions about Ozone sanitizing
How do I know ozone sanitizing suits my space rather than another type?
Ozone is particularly suited to situations where a smell is trapped in the air or in porous materials such as fabrics and walls, or when a space has been closed for a long time. If your issue is smoke, damp, a pet smell, or a room sealed after an event, ozone is worth discussing. Tell us the situation and we will agree on the right approach.
Do I need to leave the whole place during an ozone session?
Yes, the space must be cleared of people and pets for the full duration of the session, because ozone at working concentration is not safe to breathe directly. After the session the space is ventilated, and once the gas has cleared you can return. The duration and ventilation time depend on the size of the space and are agreed when you call.
What should I prepare before an ozone sanitizing session?
Close windows and gaps before we start to keep the gas inside the space. Remove live plants and pets. There is no need to cover furniture or surfaces. Tell us the size of the space and the type and source of the smell if you know it, so we can agree on the details before the appointment.
Does ozone fully remove smells from curtains and sofas?
Ozone reaches fabric fibres more deeply than a surface spray, and it is effective at treating smells trapped in curtains and sofas. How strong the effect is depends on how deeply the smell has soaked in and how well the space was closed during the session. Cases where the smell has built up over a long time may need more than one session, and that is discussed when you call.
My room has been closed for a long time and the air feels heavy, will ozone help?
Air in a long-closed space accumulates particles released by materials, furniture and damp. Ozone spreads through that space and reacts with what is in it, making it one of the options well suited to this kind of situation. Tell us the space, how long it has been closed and its approximate size, and we will agree on what suits you.
