What does concealed AC cleaning cover?
A concealed AC is fitted inside a ceiling void or behind a wall panel, so it shows no visible sign of getting dirty on the outside. But the fine dust reaches its filter, its coil and its drain tray every day, and the layers build up until the airflow weakens, a smell appears, or water starts dripping from the grille.
It starts when you call or message us on WhatsApp: tell us what you notice and which district you are in, and we agree a time with you. We clean the filter, the coil, the drain tray, the drain pipe and the outdoor unit, and leave the rest to us.
These are the parts the cleaning covers in a concealed unit, depending on the condition of your AC and what you notice in it.
- The internal filter
We take out the concealed unit's filter, wash it and dry it before it goes back, because it is the first barrier for dust and a blocked filter cuts the airflow directly.
- The coil and fins
We clean the cooling coil and its thin fins of accumulated dust, because blocked fins reduce the unit's ability to cool the air passing through it.
- The indoor fan
Dirt builds on the fan blades and upsets their balance, causing a humming noise and weaker airflow, and we remove these layers as part of the clean.
- The drain tray and pipe
The drain tray in a concealed unit tends to collect algae and sediment because it sits flat and out of sight. We clear the tray and confirm that condensation water drains freely.
- The grille and vents
We clean the air grilles and the visible cover from the room side, as dust on them restricts airflow and draws attention to the unit.
- The outdoor unit
We rinse the condenser coil and the outdoor fan when needed, as dust settles on them too and affects the overall performance of the system.

Questions about Concealed AC cleaning
How do I know my concealed AC needs cleaning?
Signs include weak air from the grilles, a damp or musty smell when it runs, water dripping from the grille, or a humming noise that was not there before. Because a concealed unit is hidden, you cannot see it getting dirty, so these symptoms are often the first sign.
Does the ceiling or wall have to be opened to clean a concealed AC?
A concealed unit is normally reached through its dedicated access panels or through the air grilles, without breaking the ceiling or wall. When you call, tell us where the unit is installed and how it is fitted so we can agree on the right approach.
Why does water drip from my concealed AC grille?
A concealed unit has a flat drain tray that collects condensation and sends it out through a pipe. When sediment and algae build up in the tray or the pipe blocks, the water overflows and drips through the grille. Cleaning the tray and the pipe addresses this directly.
What should I prepare before the concealed AC cleaning appointment?
Clear furniture and soft furnishings away from the air grilles and from the access panel. Let us know in advance if the circuit breaker is away from the room or if the unit is in a tight or hard-to-reach spot.
What should I check after the concealed AC is cleaned?
Switch the unit on and check that air flows evenly from all the grilles, then watch for a few minutes to confirm no water drips. Notice whether the smell you had before is gone, and let us know if any symptom continues.
