These are the parts the cleaning goes through on a cladding facade, depending on the panel type, the surface condition and what you notice.

How do I know my cladding facade needs cleaning?
The clearest signs are dark lines along the joints between panels, vertical brown streaks near gutters and openings, or uneven fading across the surface. Dust builds up fast in the narrow gaps between panels, often before visible soiling appears on the open face of the cladding.
Does the cladding type change how it is cleaned?
Yes. Painted metal panels and composite panels made of two metal skins with a plastic core differ in surface hardness and coating type, and both differ from timber or PVC cladding. That is why we ask about the panel type when you call, so the work is set up accordingly.
What should I prepare before the cladding cleaning starts?
Close the windows on the side of the facade being cleaned and notify anyone in floors facing the work area. Move cars or furniture near the base of the facade, and leave a clear path to the bottom of the building.
What should I check on the cladding after cleaning?
Step back far enough from the building and check the joints first, as that is where dirt remains if it was not fully treated. Then look at the edges, corners and the areas around gutters to confirm the vertical streaks are gone.
Common mistake: can I rinse the cladding with a hose from a window?
Water alone removes surface dust but does not reach the compacted grime in joints and edges, and a hose from a window does not cover the facade evenly. More importantly, excess water in the joints can get behind the panels if the sealant is old and affect the insulation behind them.
