What does drone facade cleaning cover?
Facades above the third floor build up layers of dust and mineral salts carried by the seasonal winds, and they are the hardest part of any facade cleaning job because reaching them usually requires a lift or ropes. A cleaning drone solves that problem by flying directly to the outer surface and covering vertical faces, corners and edges that a lift platform can sometimes miss.
Call or message us on WhatsApp, tell us where the building is, how many floors it has and what you notice on the facade, and we agree a time that suits you.
These are the surfaces and parts the work covers, depending on the condition of the facade, the material it is made of and what you notice on it.
- High vertical faces
The drone reaches upper floors without a lift and sweeps accumulated dust and grit off the outer surface of the facade, working floor by floor.
- Corners and returns
Outside corners collect dust from two directions, and the drone moves freely in front of them, unlike a lift platform that may not reach the right angle.
- Ledges and horizontal projections
Horizontal ledges such as outer sills and frames trap dust and sand and get dirty on their underside too; the drone reaches both the top and underside faces.
- Cladding panels
Dust builds up in the joints and edges of cladding panels, and the drone works along the rows reaching areas that a hose from the ground cannot.
- External glass surfaces
Facade glass on upper floors collects dust and mineral salt marks, and the drone brings the cleaning tool close to the surface without the pressure that would damage the glass.
- Hard-to-access areas
Some building facades have sections blocked by architectural features or too narrow for a platform; the drone reaches them with far more freedom than any ground-based access method.
Four steps, and done
- 1
Call or message us on WhatsApp
+966 54 084 3018 - 2
Tell us about the building and facade
Describe the number of floors, the facade material and what you see on it, dust or staining, and your district, so we can judge the right way to do the job.
- 3
We agree a time and you prepare
We settle on a time, you let nearby floors know if needed, and you make sure windows facing the facade to be cleaned are shut.
- 4
The work and checking after
The drone covers the agreed surfaces, and afterwards you check the facade from the ground or from windows to confirm that the visible dust and marks have gone.

Questions about Drone facade cleaning
How do I know my building needs drone facade cleaning specifically?
A drone suits facades on floors that are hard to reach with a lift or ropes, or where corners and projections block a platform. If you notice dark dust or staining on parts of the facade that have not been cleaned for a long time, it is worth raising the drone option when you call.
Can the drone reach all facade material types?
The drone is primarily an access method, and it reaches glass, cladding, painted surfaces and stone on upper floors. The material type determines the cleaning method, not whether the drone can get there, and that is what we agree on after you describe the facade to us.
What should I prepare before the drone work begins?
Close windows and doors facing the facade, and clear anything open on balconies such as window AC units or outdoor items. In a shared building, letting other occupants know in advance is a good idea. The preparation details are confirmed when the time is agreed.
What is the difference between drone and lift facade cleaning?
A lift carries the worker directly in front of the surface and suits continuous work across a large flat wall. A drone reaches places the lift cannot, such as tight corners and the undersides of projections, but it does not carry heavy equipment. Some buildings need both, and we decide that once we know the facade details.
Common mistake: can the drone handle the lower floors too?
Lower floors can be reached by simpler and more precise methods, and using a drone at low height is often less effective than direct hand work. The drone is usually reserved for the high sections, and we agree with you on the right method for each part of the facade when you call.
