What does snake control cover?
Snakes follow prey; where there are rodents, frogs or large insects near a garden, a drain or a pile of building material, a snake is likely nearby. The intense summer heat increases their movement at night as they look for shade and moisture along walls, pipes and fences.
Call or message us on WhatsApp, tell us your district and exactly where you saw the snake, whether in the garden, at the entrance or inside the building, and we agree a time for the inspection and treatment.
These are the stages the work typically goes through, depending on where the snake appeared, the condition of the site and what you describe when you call.
- Entry point inspection
Snakes enter through pipe gaps, wall cracks and the space under doors, and we check these points to find which ones form an active path.
- Garden and fence line
Gardens with storage areas, leaf piles and rocks are where snakes most often hide, and we go through these areas looking for signs of recent activity.
- Drains and pipes
Open drains and channels form natural corridors for snakes, especially in districts next to open land, and we check them as part of the inspection.
- Prey sources nearby
The presence of rodents, frogs or large insects near the building is what keeps a snake in the area, and we point these sources out during the inspection.
- Treatment at movement zones
After identifying paths and hiding spots, the areas around the building are treated to deter snake movement, and the method details are agreed when you call.
- Post-treatment advice
We explain what to seal or clear from the garden to reduce the chance of snakes returning, because the surrounding environment is the main thing that draws them.

Questions about Snake control
I saw a snake once; is that enough reason to call?
Yes, a single sighting usually means the environment around the building suits a snake, whether there are rodents nearby, open drains or stored material in the garden. An inspection shows whether it was a passing visit or a regular path, which helps you decide what to do next.
How do I find out where the snake is getting in?
Snakes enter through small gaps: cracks at the base of walls, spaces around water pipes and gaps under exterior doors. Tracks in the soil and shed skin help locate the path, and finding these is part of what the inspection looks for.
What should I clear from the garden before the snake control visit?
You do not need to clear everything, but keeping children and pets away and leaving access to storage areas and closed corners open helps. If there are piles of stone or timber near the walls, mention where they are so we start there.
Does snake control inside the building differ from the garden?
Yes. Inside the building the work focuses on finding and sealing entry points once the space is clear, while in the garden it covers checking movement spots, prey sources and treating the surrounding zones. The problem often starts in the garden before a snake reaches inside.
What do I check after snake control is done?
In the days after, watch for fresh tracks in the soil near walls or shed skin near storage areas and drains. If you notice either of these or see a snake again, tell us the exact spot when you call so we can reassess the area.
